Tartu!

Arrived the second largest city in estonia today, leaving for riga tomorrow morning so a real quick visit. Tallinn was good with a lot of travellers and some pubvisiting.
Strange though how many travellers just want to hang out with other travellers.
Now to get something to eat and see the town a little bit. Pics next time when the cleaninglady at the library is coming this way with a broom to clean.

Tallin

Arrived Tallin a few hours ago, beatiful hansa city. Staying in a real travelhostel, lot of people wich is fun.
Went to a finnish bathhouse/sauna today, it was me and a lot of naked old finnish men.
Had a few beers with tow japanese guys, who had a 3D camera, the technology!, met some locals. Feery ride to tallinn was good.

So i blazed trough finland, arrived Helsinki a few hour ago. Came to Vaasa last night but expensive hotel (wich were he only one if u didnt want to stay outside of town). A big contrast to tent i oulu with big bed, shower on the room and a leathercouch. Had a pint at an irish pub and a burger at Mcd ( free wifi).
Helsinki seems like a nice lively city. Walked around after a nice pastameal. Going to an old fort tomorrow and i think i have to try some real sauna before leaving finland. Now staying at a "real" hostel with a lot of travellers. Met a guy who just been to tallinn and he said it was good and much cheaper than here.

Arrived Oulo today, camping on a campground 2 km outside citycentre (Sorry mum, but its a campsite)
The campsite is very close to the ocean and oulo seems to be a nice city with a lot of water.
Went to Kukkolaforsen in Haparanda, really nice and had some really nice smoked sik.¨
Met some people from new zealand that are driving around scandinavia, wich turned out to be nurses so we changed a few stories about resp country.

Sightseeing in Haparanda, arrived yesterday and it rained all day, happy i bought new rainwear and thanked Mih for more rainproof shoes than sneakers.
Today going to Kukkola ( ha ha) forsen to check that out, then im of to Oulo ór Uleåborg... Nice to go south again.
Found free wifi at the library, sweet!

Ending up in Kalix

Left Umeå this morning with a free rental car(hertz freerider) to skellefteå and then bus to Kalix. I had planned to go to Haparanda but the hostel was fully booked so stopped in Kalix and are staying at a folkhögskola that also is a hostel.
Kalix seems to be a very quiet small town with a shoppingmall, a hamburger rest (but no Max?) and the traditionall youngster with volvo´s.
Umea was sweet with good friends, beer on rooftops, old waterpowerplants, bicyclerides, moving a piano and hanging.
My visa card stopped working in Umeå and i went to Handelsbanken and they told me that they would send it to Gbg in 4 days NOOO. But eventually it turned out that they could send it to Haparanda so that it would be there tomorrow or friday at last. So Haparanda tomorrow!

Umeå

Arrived in Umeå last night, were supposed to stay at an old friend but he had lost his key so we ended up sleeping at his g-friends house. Very nice of her to let a stranger with a big bag sleep on her couch.
Umeå i betiful amd its nice to be back here.... cant belive it was about 7 years since i lived here...

It getting more autumnlike up here and kind of cold in  the evening.

No pictures today because of broken camera, going camerahunting today, cant wait to see if the guarantee will cover it, then there would be no pics at all. I turned out that i made a really good deal when i bought the camera, i paid half the price of whats it is now. Sucks when have to buy a new one though.

Dalarna

In dalarna at malins parents house, visited old friend J yesterday, drove up, beatiful drive. ate and drank wine. Took a stroll and drank beer under a brigde. Today walked around and looked at the surrondings and M´s familys old farm.

Nice old farm. Felt like moving to the countryside for a while.

Tomorrow im taking the train to Umeå. Havent been there since i studied there, will be interesting to go back.

At my parents house, today i took the dog for a walk, met some cows and relaxed on the countryside.

Trying to figure out how to get north since the train is so god damn expensive.
